Newly appointed Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections Ms Anaseini Senimoli delivering her address at this morning’s announcement – FEO

The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) has announced the appointment of Anaseini Senimoli as the Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections, effective Friday, 14 November 2025.

The appointment was made by the Supervisor of Elections, Ms Ana Mataiciwa.

Ms Senimoli currently serves as the FEO’s Director of Operations, a position she has held for the past ten years. During this time, she oversaw major components of Fiji’s electoral operations in both the 2018 and 2022 General Elections.

Her elevation to Acting Deputy Supervisor reflects the FEO’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership capacity ahead of upcoming national electoral events.

Announcing the appointment, Ms Mataiciwa praised Ms Senimoli’s long-standing dedication and professionalism.

“Ms Senimoli’s extensive operational experience and deep understanding of Fiji’s electoral processes make her well-suited to take on this important role. I have full confidence in her ability to support the FEO’s strategic direction and ongoing preparations for future elections,” Ms Mataiciwa said.

She added that the role is crucial as the nation gears up for its next electoral cycle.

Ms Senimoli has served under five Acting Deputy Supervisors during her tenure. She hails from Drue village in Sanima, Kadavu, with maternal ties to Votua village in Lekutu, Bua.

Her long service, technical expertise, and commitment to strengthening Fiji’s democratic processes have made her a respected figure within the FEO and the wider electoral community.
