Namalata 7s gains support

THE third Naboutini Transport Namalata Kadavu 7s tournament committee has received major boost ahead of the three days tournament, which will kick off on December 10-12 at Namalata Central School Ground in Vunisea in Kadavu.

This follows the official handover of the organising committee’s T-shirts for the three days.

BLK Sales and Marketing Manager Donasiano Kalou said the company was proud to continue its partnership with the Namalata 7s committee.

“On behalf of BLK we want to thank the Namalata 7s committee for trusting BLK and continue our relationship which started two years ago.

“At BLK, we value grassroots we try to help grassroots rugby and that is why we sponsor and support the grassroots development like Namalata 7s.

“I remember few years ago i was at Namalata looking at the committee how they sacrifice their time to make this possible,” Kalou said.

Funds raised from the three days tournament go back to the school to support its annual projects.

Tournament director Malakai Yamaivava expressed his gratitude to BLK for their continued support.

“We convey our sincere thanks to BLK Fiji for supporting the tournament and we believe Kadavu will always support BLK.

“We are thankful to the number of teams calling in and we’ve exceeded 24 teams and heading towards 32 teams, including entries from youth and women’s categories.

“We encourage our spectators in Kadavu to come out in numbers and give their support,” Yamaivava said.
