THE Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd won two awards at the 26th Business Excellence Awards held last week on Denarau.
The team from Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd won the Business Excellence President Award and the Green Sustainability Award.
Ports Terminal CEO, Hasthika Dela said their team would continue to provide the best service to Fiji.
He said the awards was well-deserved as the Ports Terminal family had worked hard to achieve it.
He thanked both the Ports Terminal staff and their families for their dedication.
The Acting President and Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, who was chief guest at the event, praised the nation’s growing culture of innovation, quality, and sustainable business practice.
He said the event not only recognised business success, but also celebrated deeper commitments to quality, ethical leadership, and continuous improvement. These values were central to Fiji’s progress in an evolving global environment.
“As we celebrate achievement and excellence, let us renew our collective commitment to the future of our nation and stronger partnerships between government, business, educators, innovators, communities, and entrepreneurs,” he said.
In congratulating the award recipients, he noted their achievements represent more than profitability.
“They had shown leadership in innovation, quality, sustainability, and ethical business practice, their success is a source of national pride and a benchmark for others to aspire to.
“The evening concluded with a call for continued national unity and determination, together, we can build a future that is not only prosperous, but also inclusive and sustainable,” he said.
