Six men have been formally charged in connection with the alleged importation of more than three kilograms of methamphetamine.
Police say the charges follow investigations into two separate consignments intercepted between March and July 2025, both of which tested positive for methamphetamine.
The men each face two counts of unlawful importation of illicit drugs, contrary to Section 5(b) of the Illicit Drugs Control Act 2004.
A sixth accused has also been charged with two counts of breach of secrecy under Section 52(4) of the Fiji Inland Revenue and Customs Service Act 1998.
The charges were laid following consultations with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
All six accused were due to appear in custody at the Nadi Magistrates Court today.
