An alleged act of sacrilege has been reported in Ba following the theft of a sound amplifier from the Maururu Mosque on Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 2am when an unknown individual broke into the mosque’s sound system room and stole a six-microphone amplifier.
The theft was discovered about two hours later when the mosque’s priest arrived for his daily morning prayers.
Police have not responded to our queries on the status of investigation.
