FOUR passengers involved in the Classic Bus accident at Denarau in Nadi on Monday remain admitted in hospital.
The Sheration Fiji Golf & Beach Resort staff service-run bus contracted to Classic Buses Ltd had veered off the bridge and landed in a swamp.
Police spokesperson Wame Bautolu confirmed this yesterday.
“No one has been charged yet as the investigation into the incident continues,” Mr Bautolu said.
Police confirmed the incident occurred at 7.50am on Monday. Forty three of the injured passengers were rushed to Zens Medical Hospital in Nadi Town while seven were admitted to Nadi Hospital.
The bus company has been cooperating with authorities and conducting their own internal review of the incident.
