FIJI is set to host the Inaugural Fiji Nationals 2025 Rubik’s Cube competition this Sunday at Tokatoka Resort in Nadi.

The event is an officially sanctioned World Cube Association(WCA) event.

Local coordinator Vincent Huang confirmed there will be local and overseas competitors for the event and majority of the participants will travel from New Zealand.

“This marks the first time Fiji has hosted a national championship for speed cubing, offering a brilliant human-interest story. Not only will competitors from around the world attend, but the competition will also crown the fastest Fiji competitor as the nation’s very first National Champion in the 3x3x3 Cube event.

“It is a celebration of mental dexterity, focus, and community. There will also be quite a few young participants,” Huang said.

40 overseas and local participants confirmed for the one-day event that will be competing in different activities such a 3x3x3 cube, 4x4x4 cube, Skewb, 2x2x2 cube and pyraminx.
