The sitting arrangement in Parliament this morning – FIJI PARLIAMENT

There are changes to the government benches in Parliament today, reflecting recent shifts within the Coalition Government’s ministerial lineup.

The revised sitting arrangement has Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka flanked on the front bench by Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism Minister Viliame Gavoka, and acting Attorney-General Siromi Turaga.

Behind them, Acting Minister for Finance Esrom Immanuel and Minister for Agriculture Tomasi Tunabuna have taken seats directly behind the Prime Minister.

Former Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Professor Biman Prasad, along with former Minister Manoa Kamikamica, have now moved to the back benches.

The new seating comes after Prof Prasad and Mr Kamikamica resigned from Cabinet following charges laid on them by FICAC.
