EXCITEMENT builds as the pool draws for the 2025 Pacific Community Cup have ignited anticipation for a thrilling showdown between IDC standouts Rewa and Ba, who have been placed in the same group for the upcoming tournament in New Zealand.
Rewa, the current champions in both the national league and the IDC, are set to lead Group A alongside formidable opponents Ba as well as AUFFI All Stars, NZFFI All Stars, and NZFFI Northshore All Stars.
Group B promises to deliver equally intense matches with the likes of Battle of the Giants champs Labasa, Lautoka, AUFFI Australia All Stars, Auckland All Stars, and USA All Stars.
In the previous edition of the Pacific Cup held at Churchill Park in Lautoka, it was a fiercely contested competition with Rewa, Labasa, and Navua facing early exits in the group stages.
Lautoka managed to reach the semi-finals only to be stopped by the eventual title defenders, Auckland All Stars, who emerged victorious once again.
This year, the tournament is scheduled to take place from November 26-30 in Auckland, New Zealand.
