A POOL filled with tough company is what the Fiji Airways Fiji men’s 7s team find themselves in Pool A with, for the Dubai leg of the HSBC SVNS next month.
Fiji is pooled with Argentina, South Africa and France – three teams the national side has a turbulent history with.
Meanwhile in Pool B, New Zealand, Spain, Australia and Great Britain make up the pool.
The Fijiana 7s team is also grouped in Pool A with New Zealand, the United States and France.
In Pool B are Australia, Canada, Great Britain and Japan.
The sevens series will become more tougher with the new eight-team format as the first two teams from each pool advance directly to the semi-finals, eliminating the quarter-finals.
The Dubai 7s will be held from November 29-30.
