The Fiji Seismology Unit has reported a small earthquake that occurred southwest of Natadola Beach this morning.
According to the Earthquake Information Bulletin issued by the unit, the tremor was recorded at 11:41am today.
It had a magnitude of 3.3 and a depth of 8 kilometres.
The earthquake’s location was approximately 100 kilometres southwest of Natadola Beach.
Authorities have confirmed that the event does not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the Fiji region.
