NAITASIRI will head into their Skipper Cup semi-final clash against Tailevu without the services of four of their winning players from last week’s quarter-final victory against Ba.
Nasole Rainima, John Muller, Senijiale Qiokata, and Apisai Naqase all picked up injuries during their 32-18 win over Ba and are set to miss their much-anticipated semi-finals against Tailevu.
Team manager Pena Qaia said they have faith in the depth of their squad.
“We have the pool of players there and those players can replace them, if one Naitasiri player is out, another player is ready to take up that position.” Pena said.
The team is leaving no stones unturned as they prepare for this weekend.
Discipline is their biggest work-on especially as they are up against a fit side which has found their form this season.
In their last encounter Tailevu narrowly beat Naitasiri 27-22 at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
They meet again on Saturday in Suva.
