Stratum Construction Rewa ended a 15-year title drought by defeating RC Manubhai Ba 1-0 in the 2025 FMF Inter-District Championship final at Govind Park.
In front of 13,000 fans, Ba started strongly, but Rewa goalkeeper James Do’oro’s brilliance kept the first half goalless.
Despite losing Kavaia Rawaqa to a red card, Rewa took the lead in the 76th minute when Patrick Joseph converted a penalty after Asivorosi Rabo was fouled.
Ba’s late push failed as Praneel Naidu was also sent off.
The win gave Rewa their first IDC crown since 2010, earning $50,000 in prize money.
Do’oro, John Orobulu, and Gabrieli Matanisiga claimed the top individual awards, while coach-player Tevita Waranivalu praised his team’s resilience and faith.
