Legendary ghazal singers Anup Jalota and Talat Aziz will bring their acclaimed show “Shaam-e-Ghazal” to Suva next month as part of a special tribute tour honouring the timeless icons Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas, and Mehdi Hassan.
Presented by Star Alliance Entertainment, the concert will take place on November 23 at 6:00 PM at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
Anup Jalota said he was thrilled to perform in Fiji as part of the tour that also includes Melbourne and Auckland.
“I’m excited to bring Shaam-e-Ghazal to Melbourne, Auckland, and Suva this November,” he said on Instagram.
“We will honour the timeless legends Jagjit Singh ji, Pankaj Udhas ji, and Mehdi Hassan Sahab along with my dear friend Talat Aziz ji. Looking forward to seeing you all for these soulful evenings,” Mr Jalota said.
Talat Aziz added that he was equally delighted to share the stage with Mr Jalota again under the Star Alliance banner.
“Looking forward to this amazing tour of Australia with my friend Anup Jalota, organised by Star Alliance Entertainment. There are five concerts in five centres—Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Fiji,” he said on Instragram.
