TWO top officials from ANZ New Zealand will visit Fiji next week as part of a Pacific leadership tour.
ANZ New Zealand chief executive officer Antonia Watson will spend two days in Vanuatu before arriving in Fiji where she will be joined by chief risk officer Benjamin Kelleher for a series of engagements in Suva and Nadi, ANZ said in a statement.
“Fiji is one of ANZ’s most important Pacific markets, and I’m looking forward to reconnecting with our customers, partners and team members,” Ms Watson said.
“ANZ has been operating in Fiji for over 140 years, and we remain committed to supporting the country’s economic growth and resilience.”
The visit will include meetings with the Reserve Bank of Fiji, the New
Zealand High Commission, and several commercial clients.
The executives will also spend time with Fiji staff and host a client event in Suva.
ANZ Fiji country head Rabih Yazbek said the visit reflected ANZ’s deep
ties with Fiji.
“We’re proud to welcome Antonia and Ben back to Fiji.
“Their visit is a strong signal of ANZ’s ongoing investment in our people, customers and communities,” Mr Yazbek said.
