Corporate entities around the Suva-Nausori area got together in the first round for the second season of the 2025 Suva Netball Association’s Business House League at the National Netball Centre on Tuesday evening.

There are four pools of competition for the business house league and range from corporate bodies and government statutory bodies such as the Fiji Bureau of Statistics.

Pool 1 has teams such as Southern Cross, Ministry of Health, Southern Educators, Capital Insurance, Fiji National Provident Fund, and the Hot Bread Kitchen.

In pool two, seven teams make up the group, and they are Bank of the South Pacific, Mindpearl, Fiji Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC), the United Nations, Vodafone, the Colonial War Memorial Hospital and the iTaukei Land Trust Board.

For pool three, it is a mix of corporate bodies and the diplomatic corps with teams such as Central Teachers, Water Authority of Fiji, Total Energies Fiji Limited, NewWorld IGA, Merchant Finance Ltd, Australian High Commission and BSP Life.

Pool four has the Recoveries Corporation Ltd (RCL), Tower Insurance Ltd, the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, Carpenters Fiji Limited, the Fiji Sports Council and Westpac.

Results in round one, according to the Suva Netball Association’s official Facebook page:

Round 1: Southern Educators 22-3 Capital Insurance, Team Vanua 16-11 Mindpearl, Central Teachers 19-3 BSP Life, Carpenters Fiji Limited won by default over Westpac.

Round 2: CWM Hospital won by default over FCCC, Water Authority of Fiji 15-2 Merchant Finance, Fiji Sports Council 8-6 Tower Insurance, MoH 10-10 FNPF.

Round 3: NewWorld IGA won by default over Total Energies, Carpenters 9-7 FBoS, HBK 27-12 Southern Cross, United Nations won by default over Vodafone.

Round 4: RCL won by default over Westpac, HBK 22-3 Capital Insurance, Team Vanua 19-10 BSP, Central Teachers 24-6 Merchant Finance.

Round 5: Southern Cross 19-6 FNPF, Mindpearl 22-13 Vodafone, NewWorld IGA won by default over BSP Life, FBoS 14-8 Tower Insurance.
