POWERVOLT Suva Football Club has received a timely boost in the form of sponsorship from Powervolt Services PTE Limited, just in time for the 2025 FMF Inter District Championship.
This sponsorship has led to the rebranding of the team as Powervolt Suva FC, reflecting the partnership between the two entities as they gear up for the upcoming tournament.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the Suva Football Association, Suva FC president Nitin Singh extended thanks to Powervolt Services Ltd for their timely support.
Singh acknowledged the challenges of running an association and securing sponsors, making this boost even more significant for the team.
“Running as Association is not an easy task, and getting sponsors is even tougher, and we are grateful for this support,” said Singh.
He adds under the guidance of coach Maxwell Thaggard, also known as Babs Khan, and assistant coach Pita Rabo, the team has been working diligently in preparation for the IDC.
Singh emphasised the positive impact that the sponsorship from Powervolt Services will have on the team’s performance and morale during the championship.
Managing director of Powervolt Services PTE Limited, Vinit Narayan, expressed his personal connection to sponsoring Suva FC, citing the team as a symbol of teamwork, unity, and pride for the Capital City.
Narayan declared full support for Powervolt Suva FC in their journey through the FMF IDC 2025, urging players to wear the white jersey with pride and discipline as they represent both Suva and Powervolt.
Narayan also called upon fans to rally behind the team, acknowledging their crucial role in supporting Powervolt Suva FC to victory.
He affirmed Powervolt Services’ commitment to standing by the team throughout the championship, aiming to make 2025 a memorable year for the club.
