A tiktoker accused of insulting the modesty of Minister for Information Lynda Tabuya on social media has been ordered to deactivate his TikTok and other platforms.
Lui Bale Vuibereta, 31, who appeared before Chief Magistrate Josaia Waqaivolavola yesterday, was also released on a $1000 non-cash bail bond with strict conditions.
He has also been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at the St. Giles Hospital.
Mr Vuibereta will be evaluated for three days and released at the discretion of the hospital’s superintendent.
The case has been adjourned to October 15.
