The Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) has confirmed that Bua FC will replace Nadogo FC in the Senior Division of the FMF Inter-District Championship (IDC) 2025, scheduled from October 7–12 at 4R Stadium and Govind Park in Ba.
Nadogo has been ruled out of the tournament after investigations revealed the district had provided false information to the parent body regarding the staging of its Regional Club League. Fiji FA confirmed that no such competition was held in Nadogo despite earlier claims.
As a result, Fiji FA has indefinitely suspended Nadogo Football Association president Mohammed Yunus for misleading the national body, with further investigations to be carried out.
Bua FC, which had originally qualified for the Premier Division through its Extra Senior League ranking, was reassigned to the Senior Division following compliance checks. Reports showed that while Bua had staged its Regional League competition, it was only conducted during the first quarter of the year, failing to meet the full requirements.
The Senior Division groups for the FMF IDC 2025 have now been confirmed:
Group A: Lami, Taveuni, Bua
Group B: Rakiraki, Savusavu, Dreketi
