THE stage is set for an explosive encounter as Filise Nabua of Nasavu, Ra, takes on Sorokoba’s Filimoni Naliva in the upcoming Bluewater Boxing Promotion at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, next Friday.
Nabua, who has been putting in the hard yards, said his preparation has been intense and he is ready to push beyond his limits.
“Preparation has been going on well, it’s good I break my training limits so I’m ready,” Nabua said.
Looking ahead to the contest, Nabua is cautious but confident, acknowledging the challenge that lies ahead.
“I don’t know how long my fight will take but all I want to say to my opponent it will be a good one,” he said.
With family and supporters backing him, Nabua carries a strong sense of purpose into the ring.
“My message to my brother Naliva, I hope you come prepared because I got families that looks up to me, once I come out from that ring I come out victorious, I can’t lose this fight,” Nabua said.
