Shop N Save Supermarket, one of Fiji’s leading supermarket chains, will once again back the 94th Lautoka Open Golf Pro-Am Championship as major sponsor.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 4 at the Lautoka Golf Club.
This is the eighth year in a row that Shop N Save has supported the tournament, showing its commitment to sports and community engagement in Fiji.
Anuresh Chandra, now residing in New Zealand has confirmed his participation. Among other titles, Chandra holds the unbeaten record of seven wins back-to-back at Ba Open Champion.
Former World Number 1, Vijay Singh held the record of winning the Lautoka Open Championship title back-to-back in 1981 and 1982 before turning professional.
Speaking at the agreement signing, Shop N Save Supermarket Head of Marketing, Vijay Krishna said they were excited with the partnership.

The 94th Lautoka Open Golf Pro-Am Championship will bring together top professional and amateur golfers from Fiji and the region in a day of competition and camaraderie.
The Lautoka Golf Club Chairman of Trustees acknowledged Shop N Save for its continued support, saying such partnerships have helped sustain the championship’s legacy for nearly 100 years.
