Former Netball Fiji Chief Executive Officer Vivian Koster has been elected as the new Oceania regional director of the World Netball Board for a four-year term.

With over two decades of experience in sports administration, Koster brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Policy and Administration, as well as a Master of Arts degree from the University of the South Pacific.

Having previously served as the inaugural CEO of Netball Fiji from 2021 to December 2024, Koster’s leadership and dedication to the sport have been demonstrated over the years.

She takes over from the late Wainikiti (Kiti) Bogidrau, who’s passing earlier this year left a void in the netball community.

In her acceptance of the new position, Koster expressed gratitude for the support of Oceania Netball and the trust they have placed in her.

“I recognize that I stand on the shoulders of those before me, in particular, the late Wainikiti Bogidrau, who was not just a netball colleague but a great friend,” said Koster.

“I was fortunate to journey with her through netball in Fiji and Oceania, and I continue to learn from her in this new space.

“I look forward to robust discussions and ensuring that the voice of our members, especially those that struggle but continue to fight hard for the sport, are heard.”

Koster is eager to engage in substantive discussions and contribute to the advancement of netball in the Oceania region.
