A couple from Lautoka are now the latest fatality on Fiji’s roads.
Fiji Police said they died in an accident at Nadolodolo, Tavua at around 7.15am this morning.
They were travelling towards Rakiraki from Tavua.
Police said they collied with an oncoming truck filled with sugar cane which was on its way to Lautoka.
Bodies of the two deceased were taken to Lautoka Morgue awaiting Post Mortem.
‘Motorist are advised to take extra precautions on our roads as we head into another weekend,” said Fiji Police.
Investigation in to the incident is underway.
