A NEW Tourism Fiji CEO will be announced soon, says Tourism Minister Viliame Gavoka.
He said the selection process has reached its final stages.
“The selection process for the CEO of Tourism Fiji, under the advisory services of KPMG, is about complete,” said Mr Gavoka. “An announcement will be made soon.”
The role was left vacant by former CEO Brent Hill, who resigned from Tourism Fiji in June.
Mr Hill completed his contract at the end of August and has since taken up a role as chief marketing officer for Brisbane 2032.
Brisbane 2032 is the organising committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games that will be hosted by Australia.
