The Fiji Police Force has confirmed that no arrest has been made in connection with the death of Nadi-based medical doctor and social media personality, Dr Isireli Biumaitotoya.
“The media report stating that a suspect had been arrested is not factual, as no such official confirmation was issued,” the statement read.
Police said investigations remain ongoing, with investigators continuing to gather statements and collect information to determine the circumstances surrounding Dr Biumaitotoya’s death.
Dr Biumaitotoya was found dead at his home in Nadi earlier this week. His death has sparked widespread public interest and reaction online. Investigations continue.
