The 42nd Fiji Head Teachers Conference began today at the Sheraton Resort and Spa in Denarau.
The three day meet brought together heads of schools from 15 districts across the country.
With the theme “Empowering Leaders: Leading Beyond Expectation” the event will focus on teacher migration, the use of grants and school operations under the current environment.
Fiji Head Teachers Association president Johnson Rura said the Conference was an important platform to discuss issues that head teachers and school principals were facing daily.
The conference ends on Friday.
