After hanging up his professional boots, Fiji rugby star Nemani Nadolo has signed on as the new brand ambassador for Capital Insurance Ltd (CIL).
The former Flying Fijian winger’s move was revealed yesterday at the company’s head office in Suva, where CIL Fiji chief executive officer David Ariff Chan called him “a towering figure in world rugby” and “a true son of Fiji”.
Chan said the announcement marked another milestone in the company’s journey and reflected its promise of protection and deep pride in the Pacific.
“Nadolo is one of the most recognised names in World Rugby.
“As you all know, he’s played professionally in New Zealand, Australia, France and England and Japan, and he has proudly represented Fiji on the international stage, very successfully, including Rugby World Cup,” Chan said.
“Known for his strength and skill on the field, it is his humility, his resilience and his connection to the community that makes Nadolo a perfect fit for the brand that is Capital Insurance.”
Nadolo said the partnership felt like the right fit after moving to Fiji recently.
“When we had this conversation a few months ago about potentially starting this partnership, I was very thankful,” Nadolo said.
“And I think the one thing that really sticks out for me is that close relationship with the communities and working with villages.
“I myself grew up in Australia, but I made the move to Fiji a few weeks ago, and it just seemed like a right fit.
“My biggest passion is working for our people here in Fiji and just showing them another, this partnership with CIL is going to make that a lot easier.”
