The 2025 FMF IDC tournament will now be held at 4R Stadium (formerly Govind Park) in Ba.

This was confirmed during a joint press conference between Fiji Football and Ba Town Council yesterday.

Last week, Fiji Football announced the tournament would move to Churchill Park due to floodlight issues at 4R Stadium.

However, after further discussions, both parties have signed an agreement to keep the competition in Ba.

Ba Town Council Special Administrator Chair, Moshim Khan, said they were excited to welcome the tournament back to Ba after a decade.

“We will be hosting the IDC at 4R Stadium and, on behalf of Ba Town Council, we welcome all soccer fans.

After 10 years, Ba will be hosting the IDC under the redeveloped 4R Stadium.

“Thank you to the Ministry of Local Government, Fiji FA, Ba Chamber of Commerce, and Ba Town Council we have worked hard to bring the games to Ba. Special thanks to FMF for sponsoring the 2025 games. May the best team win,” Khan said.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel said ticket pricing and fixtures would be announced after the official draws.

“We have to look at the stadium, but one good thing is that there is seating for 9,200 in the pavilion and additional embankment seating.

“Once Fiji FA staff and Ba Town Council staff assess the stadium layout and seating plan, we will finalise ticket pricing.

“It will cater for everyone, and we will make sure prices are affordable,” Patel said.
