A Fijian has made history by setting a Guinness World Record for the most companies identified by their logo in just 30 seconds.
Anush Maharaj, 20, known as The Mystic, correctly named 60 companies from their logos during the official attempt in Suva on May 29, 2025.
According to Guinness World Records, the feat set a new benchmark for the category, with Mr Maharaj taking on the challenge as both a personal test and a way to put Fiji on the global stage.
“I wanted to challenge myself and represent my country,” Mr Maharaj said after his record was confirmed.
The record attempt required participants to identify as many company logos as possible within half a minute, with each answer checked for accuracy under strict Guinness guidelines.
Logos from a range of industries – from technology and fashion to food and automotive brands flashed on the screen in rapid succession, with Mr Maharaj firing back correct answers without hesitation.
Officials said the effort demanded not just brand knowledge, but quick thinking, razor-sharp memory recall and the ability to perform under time pressure.
Mr Maharaj’s achievement will now be listed in the Guinness World Records database alongside other unusual and high-speed feats from around the globe.
The Suva local said he hoped the recognition would inspire others in Fiji to test their own limits.
“It’s about proving to yourself, what you can do,” he said.
