POLICE will explore claims of ‘politicians’ involvement in the Justin Ho drug case.

This comes after High Court judge, Justice Aruna Aluthge, stated in a judgment there was overwhelming evidence that a business run by Ho received the blessing of politicians while it was still open.

When questioned about whether the police were looking into Ho’s affiliates at the time and any connections to politicians, Commissioner Tudravu said: “Well, I cannot further deliberate on that as the matter is still in court.

“So after the decision or the judgement is made, then we’ll have to relook at the files and come up again with some of the analysis or some of the things that are uttered in court. Those are the things that I will follow up on again. So I think we’ll leave it at that.”

“So we just have to wait for the sentencing to be done to complete the process, and then we’ll look into that.”
