Media personnels covering the alleged extortion case involving five Police officers have cited alleged interference from Police officers at the Nasinu Magistrate Court today.
They claimed that the five suspects were allowed into the court through the back door to shield them from the media.
At the same time, a Special Constable allegedly lied to the journalists that the matter currently being called was regarding a juvenile.
Journalists finally went in when a senior officer came and told the Special Constable to allow them in.
Fiji Police confirmed they will be investigating this matter.
More on this in tomorrow’s Fiji Times edition.
