The 14-year-old who died in a road accident in Nabua on Friday will be accorded final rites today.
Farhan Ali was hit by a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old man.
It is alleged the suspect lost control of his vehicle whereby it hit the side of a bus.
As a result, his vehicle bumped the student who was waiting at the traffic lights to cross.
The child was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where he received medical treatment, but unfortunately later passed away as a result of the injuries sustained.
Farhan’s funeral will be at 5pm today at the 9 miles cemetery.
