NATIONAL airline Fiji airways has announced the introduction of what it calls “the next chapter in our onboard service experience” – a vibrant Pacific Rim menu and a new Dine on Demand concept for its business class guests on select long-haul flights.

The new menu, it said, reflects Fiji’s unique position at the crossroads of Asia, North America and Oceania, as it blends fresh, bold flavour showcasing Fijian ingredients with an emphasis on sustainable sourcing.

The Dine on Demand concept is a tailored experience giving guests the freedom to choose what they want to eat, when they want to eat it, adding a new level of personalisation and comfort to their journey.

Additionally, economy class has also been refreshed with updated meal options, a new mocktail and cocktail offering, hot chocolate and a new snack and beverage choice available.
Fiji Airways chief executive officer Andre Viljoen said as the national carrier, they recognise the role played in connecting Fiji to the world and sharing the unique warmth and happiness that only Fiji offers.

“With the initial introduction of our new Pacific Rim menu and on-demand dining, we’re delivering a fine-dining restaurant-quality experience in the sky that is authentically Fijian,” Mr Viljoen said.

“Through our strategic investments in our food, beverages, service training and sustainable sourcing of materials, we’re bringing that happiness in every journey.”
