Two of six individuals accused of tampering with methamphetamine kept as evidence at Suva’s Totogo Police Station have been denied bail.

Luisa Cagi and Anare Vulaki had their bail application denied by Magistrate Charles Ratakele in the Suva Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

The pair are charged alongside Anare Buresolei and three police officers — Roy Seinibici, Inoke Tikomaimalevani, and Samisoni Ralulu.

The six were allegedly in possession of 3.727.8 grams of methamphetamine on February 9 last year.

During the course of the investigations, the officers, with Mr Vulaki and Mr Buresolei, conspired and disposed of the methamphetamine seized from Ms Cagi during a police operation between February 9 and 10 last year.

The case has been adjourned to July 31.
