Following the success of the inaugural KPMG ‘IT’s Her Future’ two-day insights program in September 2024, KPMG Fiji is set to host a second program on July 17-18, 2025, aimed at final-year female university students.

The initiative seeks to introduce women to careers in technology and boost their participation in a sector where they remain significantly under-represented.

“This year, we are delighted to confirm 15 women will be attending. Last year, we had 13 participants, with four joining us as graduates in 2025. We’re hopeful that some from this cohort will join us as graduates in 2026,” said Lisa Apted, Managing Partner at KPMG Fiji,

The program offers participants a unique opportunity to engage with women across KPMG’s business, sharing insights into their career journeys and providing mentorship.

“Fiji has a wealth of young, tech-savvy women, and this talent pool is a vital resource for businesses like KPMG,” said Apted.

“By supporting Women in Technology, we aim to create job opportunities and build a pipeline of skilled talent.”

Upon completing the program, participants will have the chance to interview for graduate positions within KPMG Suva’s Connected Technology Group or Enterprise Technology teams.

“By helping Fiji’s youth see themselves in role models performing inspiring roles, we are creating a sustainable talent pipeline for our business and the industry,” Apted added.
