Starting mid-August 2025, Fiji Airways is set to take its Nadi-Hong Kong service to a night departure from Nadi.

Currently, the service departs Nadi around 8am and Fiji Airways booking portal now shows a departure time of 11:30pm from August 16, with arrival in Hong Kong at 6am local time.

Travel And Tour World (TTW), a digital media platform in the travel and tourism industry, reaching more than 10 million readers globally, reports the night flights will be undertaken between August 16–31, 2025.

“Although subject to further refinements, the initial schedule for the revised Nadi–Hong Kong service between August 16 and August 31, 2025, is expected to feature two to three weekly rotations,” reports TTW.

“This early window is being treated as a pilot phase for the new schedule, allowing the airline to evaluate passenger response and make additional adjustments ahead of the more intensive travel periods during the year-end holiday season.”

“The updated operational plan not only reflects Fiji Airways’ proactive approach to network management but also underscores its ability to remain agile and responsive to shifting travel dynamics.”

TTW adds with the growing resurgence of international air travel in the post-pandemic landscape, such strategic adjustments are increasingly essential for optimizing capacity and enhancing competitiveness.
