CUSTOMERS of TotalEnergies Marketing (Fiji) Pte Ltd will now get to experience Fiji’s first smartphone-based fuelling system following the launch of a digital fuelling platform at their Nausori branch yesterday. Speaking during the launch yesterday, TotalEnergies’
Retail Optimizer Betty Panapasa said the aim of the initiative was to eliminate the use of plastic card and other non-sustainable practices.
“TotalEnergies has launched a new digital fuelling platform through the Mobility Pay app and OTP fuelling system, allowing customers to fuel their vehicles using just their phones,” Ms Panapasa said.
“This initiative aims to eliminate the need for plastic cards, lower our carbon footprint and promote paperless operations, showcasing the company’s commitment to sustainability while providing convenience and control for customers.”
She said the launch demonstrated TotalEnergies’ commitment to leveraging technology for a sustainable future.
“The digital platform not only supports environmental goals, but also enhances user experience, providing convenience and control directly from customers’ smartphones.”
TotalEnergies have also launched a new look for its Nausori branch, and apart from fuelling, customers will also get to enjoy freshly baked goodies and other food items.
Managing director Bhavana Samel said this will allow customers to only refuel their car but also “refuel themselves”.
“Now we have coffee, food, etc, here to refuel your body while your car is refuelling or getting serviced here.”
She said this new look will also be introduced in other TotalEnergies branches around the country.
