State lawyer Sheenal Swastika has sought time from the High Court in Lautoka to submit the transcripts from murder accused Shameem Ali’s caution interview video.
Mr Ali appeared before Justice Riyaz Hamza, represented by Losana Taukei, on a charge of murdering Firdosh Mohammed at Tomuka in Lautoka on March 5.
Ms Swastika told the court the State was yet to receive the interview transcripts from the investigating officer.
The court heard the proposed pretrial conference checklist was also pending.
Ms Swastika sought 21 days to submit the proposed agreed facts, interview transcripts and the draft pretrial conference checklist.
The court heard the defence would then file its response.
Ms Taukei told the court she had filed the supplementary affidavit with respect to Mr Ali’s bail application on June 20.
Justice Hamza adjourned the substantive, and bail matters to July 17.
