Members of the FIJI Water Flying Fijians engaged in an ‘Admin Day’ outing in the lead-up to the July Tests next month, and prior to their departure for Australia today.

In a social media post on Facebook, the Fiji Rugby Union released images of the players present at the session, which may be the first time some of these players have met before they head into camp in Australia.

It was also a chance for the players to undergo a familiarisation process as well as engage with the team’s coaching panel led by head coach Mick Byrne.

Players at the ‘Admin Day’ included debutants Salesi Raiyasi and Philip Baselala, experienced players such as Iosefo Masi, Vilimone Botitu, Selestino Ravutaumada, Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and captain Tevita Ikanivere.

The team will depart today for Australia.

Other overseas-based players will make their way directly to Australia to join the team, in the lead-up to their first Test against the Wallabies on Sunday, July 6 in Newcastle.
