Three students have been identified in connection to a recent bus stoning incident in Namoli outside Labasa.
The trio will be questioned alongside their parents and guardians, the Fiji Police Force said.
The incidents have raised concerns among bus drivers, who now fear for their safety while operating on affected routes.
Despite the attacks, Dalip Chand, and Son Private Ltd managing director, Rohinil Chand, said the company was still providing services.
“We are continuing operations, but the safety of our drivers is becoming a serious concern,” he said.
The Fiji Police Force said its community policing officers visited the Namoli area to speak with residents about the impact of such behaviour.
They urged parents to talk to their children and youths, warning that repeated incidents could lead to a loss of bus services in the area. They said they were seeking the support of the community to help prevent young people from falling on the wrong side of the law and to ensure safer neighbourhoods.
