Fiji born Tavatavanawai gets All Blacks call-up

Listen to this article:

Fiji-born winger Timoci Tavatavanawai has today been named by head coach Scott Robertson for the first All Blacks squad for 2025.

The former Queen Victoria student is the only big inclusion in the All Blacks so far.

It has always been the dream for Tavatavanawai to represent the All Blacks.

His selection means that the Flying Fijians has missed out another explosive, strong carrying, hard-hitting asset to New Zealand.

Joining Tavatavanawai is Kadavu flyer Sevu Reece.

Cheifs winger Emoni Narawa has been listed as injury cover.
