Nasilasila extends contract

The 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season looks very promising as Swire Shipping Fijian Drua lock, Isoa Nasilasila, expresses his excitement about signing a contract extension to remain with the Club.

The 25-year-old from Viseisei, Vuda, was recently named the Drua’s 2025 Player of the Year, lauded for his consistency, professionalism, and leadership both on and off the field.

A true fan favorite, Nasilasila has made an impressive 50 appearances for the Fijian Drua, a feat achieved by only two players in history.

Since 2022, he has established himself as one of Super Rugby Pacific’s most consistent performers, missing just 8 matches for the Drua.

With 21 caps for the Flying Fijians since his debut four years ago, he played a crucial role in Fiji’s 2023 Rugby World Cup campaign.

“I’m very excited to extend another year with the Drua. I started my journey with them and with the team and management that are there heading into 2026, it looks very promising and can’t wait to see what will unfold.”

Fijian Drua General Manager Rugby, Baden Stephenson, expressed his delight in re-signing Nasilasila for the next year, highlighting his high standards, consistent behaviors, hard work, and deep care for the Club.
