Team Fiji for the Pacific Mini Games in Koror, Palau will be travelling to the island nation in two batches.
This is according to its general manager, Anushil Kumar, who shared this after the national delegation presented its i-tatau to the Minister for Youth and Sports, Jese Saukuru at the FMF Gymnasium on Wednesday.
Fiji’s team to the Games will depart in two waves, one leaving on Friday, June 27 and the other leaving on Saturday, June 28.
In total, a total contingent of 186 athletes and officials are heading to Palau, which when broken down include 73 male athletes and 63 female athletes, with 50 officials across various sports.
He added the national team will have its assembly on Saturday, June 14.
“That’s where all our teams and officials will gather as a team, and that’s where we will be discussing our team culture and all other logistical information that the team must know before we depart the country,” he said.
