James Gordon has defended his 2025 Sheraton Golf Classic title following an impressive finish on the last day at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club on Saturday.

Gordon scored 10 under par in the first round with 62, shot 68 in the second round and 67 in the final round to give him top prize giving him a total of 197. Tyler Woods finished in second place with a total of 198 and John Lyras finished in third place with a total of 199.

Jason Norris finished in fourth place with 200 and Jared Pender in fifth place with a total of 203.

Gordon was happy with his return this year to defend his title.

“It’s nice to come back to an event where you’ve played well and you’ve got a bit of confidence.

“We had great weather in the first round, and I had a good back nine to post a great score,” Gordon said.

When asked about the pressure of returning as defending champion, Gordon acknowledged the expectation.

“Yeah, there’s a bit of expectation to do well.

“You never know how you’re going to play, but it’s nice to come back to somewhere where you’ve got really good memories from previous years and try and vibe off that a bit.”

During round three which was played in rainy conditions, Gordon remained positive despite the weather challenges.

“The weather is what we’ve caught back in Australia, except without the humidity,” he said with a smile. I’m excited of the win from day one.”
