Fiji Revenue and Customs Services head of the Intelligence Unit, Osea Raicama Dakai appeared at the Nadi Magistrates Court this afternoon charged with one count of unlawful importation of illicit drugs and one count of Breach of the Secrecy Oath under the Fiji Revenue and Customs Act 1998.
Mr Dakai was refused bail in court this afternoon.
The matter has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court.
It will be called on June 2 for mention.
Mr Dakai is the seventh person to be charged in relation to the drug seizure.
Out of the seven, two are officers of the Counter Narcotics Bureau that operates from within the Ministry of Policing.
