FIJI is gearing up to take on the region’s best at the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau, with a strong and diverse team officially confirmed yesterday.
The announcement, made at the Fiji Olympic House in Suva, revealed that Team Fiji will send a 186-member delegation made up of athletes, coaches and officials.
The Games, scheduled from June 29 to July 9, will see Fiji compete in 12 sports, highlighting the nation’s depth in both able-bodied and para-athlete disciplines.
Excitement is building as preparations continue and the nation rallies behind the athletes who will proudly represent Fiji on the regional stage.
Speaking on the team’s naming, chef de mission Josaia Tuinamata said the final selection was a realisation of months of preparation and passion.
The Mini Games will also be a platform to prepare young athletes for the 2027 Pacific Games and the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane, Australia.
