Police have beefed up security measures and its presence around the Suva area to ensure the safety of children as the 2025 Coca Cola Games ends today at the HFC Bank National Stadium.
In a release, police said presence has increased to ensure children returned safely home after the conclusion of this year’s Coke games.
“Police Officers will be on the roads to ensure that road safety measures are followed and also to see that our children don’t rock the bus. Police will be along the highways to see returning schools to the Western and Eastern Division behave while travelling,” police said.
“Police will be in all the towns monitoring amusement centers, liquor stores and Kava Bars. Police will also check on Night Clubs later this evening to check on minors sneaking inside.
“The Fiji Police Force will be out there for everyone’s safety.”
