THE Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association is expecting a full house today for the final day of the 2025 Fiji Finals.
FSSAA secretary Biu Colati said the crowd during the first two days of competition was the best compared to various years.
He said this indicated that the third day would only be bigger.
“Compared to last year our turnout this year is much better. I was just getting calls as to how they could acquire the embankment because the grandstand was sold out.
“So, I’m quite sure that we will sell out all the embankment spaces that are out there. We are anticipating a very huge crowd tomorrow.”
Colati said apart from the school fever and rivalry, the main factor that brings people to the annual event is the quality of runners.
“When the quality improves, the crowd just comes in and that is something that we believe in.”
Day 3 will begin at 8am with eight finals in respective field events.
It will conclude with the 4x400m relays.
