The Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji has issued temporary exclusion zones in the Mamanuca group for the filming of US Survivor Series, season 49.
Season 48, which was also filmed in Fiji is being aired in the USA currently.
The exclusion zones are for parts of Monu Riki Island, Tavua Island, Yadua Island and Mana Island.
“In accordance with Regulation 20 of the Maritime (Navigation Safety) Regulations 2014, all Ship Owners/Operators, Masters, Seafarers and the General Public are advised that Filming for the US Survivor series 2025 will take place in Mamanuca Group from 15 April to 03 July 2025 at the following locations,” states MSAF CEO Joweli Cawaki.
“A twenty-four (24-hour) Temporary Exclusion Zone is approved for the above locations to SEG Holdco, LLC —Fiji Branch.”
“All ships are required to give wide berth of at least 1 nautical mile from the shores of the respective beaches/Islands and avoid the above areas from 15th April to 03rd July 2025.”
The notice is not applicable to the Fiji Navy ships, Maritime Police, Pilot ships, Tug and other ships which maybe required to attend to undertake emergency response, or in case of ship emergencies.
