The captain of a fiber glass boat died early morning near Bekana Island off the coast of Lautoka following a head on collision with another boat.
Initial reports from police confirm the man was returning from a fishing trip with three other passengers when they hit a Fiji Ports Corporation Ltd pilot boat.
The man was reported to have died instantly from the crash.
